Something in the water???

Something in the water?

Brandon and I went fishing up in Enterprise and camped at the upper reservoir. It was great we took Bentley who loved eating dead crawdads and random things on the shore. It was so nice to get away from everything we have going on in our lives and be unreachable....if any of you know what I mean? Well we all caught fish even little Bentley, even though his was dead on the shore. Having a dog is like having a little brother almost!
I really do love going out and doing things and camping is great until it comes to the sleeping part. Is it just me or can everyone sleep on cold hard rocky ground? It was actually really funny...well not then but now. Brandon told me it was going to be hot so don't dress warm. I some how translated in my brain that he didn't want me to bring many blankets because it will be hot camping. How that happened I am still not quite sure...
So come night fall we are FREEZING. So bad that I wore my tennis shoes to bed...which worked actually really well if your feet are freezing.

Bentley isn't much of a cuddly dog and I always assumed its because he doesn't handle the heat well. But even when we were camping he would rather lay on the other side of the tent from us. There are rare special times that he will cuddle. Sometimes I will fake whimper and he will rush over to me to comfort me. I know its sad I have to manipulate my dog into being cuddly.
Happy 25th birthday to me!
My parents took Brandon and I out to eat at one of my favorite places, Royal Thai Cuisine. I love Thai, especially yellow curry with brown rice. We had a huge table stuffed with dishes, it was amazing.
For my "cake" Brandon always makes me a pie. I don't really care for cake, but pie is another story! Although I have to say our wedding cake was delish, with the marshmallow fondant and everything. But back to the pie, Brandon hand squeezed every lime for this and every past pie. I know what a good husband!!! The crust  was from scratch too!
While up at my parents it is tradition for my Mom make a Birthday dinner we had chicken/steak fruit/pesto salad which was a hit for everyone. When there are boys you can't do anything too girly for dinner or there is lots of complaining that is what the //// were for.
My Mom and Sister made me a fruit pizza for my birthday. We ran out of candles...yes I know very sad to know I am so old that I have fell into the category of needing multiple boxes to candles!!

Jill came up as a surprise which was so nice to see her since it had been soo long! I feel like my little nephews grow up too fast too. It was nice being able to do each other's hair and hang out with sisterly bonding time.

Getting ready for the hair show.
It actually worked out great since my girl friend's wedding was the next morning. So I needed to be up in SLC area anyways. The hair show was fun but it was more like a dance rehearsal since they would have hair pieces then hire dancers to dance around. I love hair but not enough to make a full body suit out of it haha....this wasn't a typical hair show. It was great to use creativity in hair manipulating.
After the hair show my girl friend and I went hot tubing and chilled the night before her wedding. It was great to have girl time since I live so far away from Amy & Jess.
Amy & I are bridemaids at Jessica's wedding. Waiting for our turn during photo on the stairs at the SLC Temple.
The new Mrs. Jessica Fox!

I am a great friend I know...I was a good support while my friend from hair school got Botox!!! Yes she loves it too! It was a great deal at what women want only $8 a unit, gotta love Utah's cheap prices on almost everything. (That is as long as you are the consumer!)

My three roomies all get married in SLC within almost 4 weeks time. Lots and lots of driving up north!
Amy Zander & Zack Miller's Wedding.
I did all hair and makeup for all my girl friends who are Brides (Amy, Jessica & Chelsea) too!

In the photobooth! So much fun!!!

Getting Amy ready and doing touch ups on lipstick.
Chelsea's Bridals and her wedding was two days ago! So I will post more later. It was fun going up to do her's and her step mother's hair and makeup. My Mom and I went to do a session at the SLC temple since we were up there already. It was fun going to do an endowment session there since we both have never done a session there or a live session. It was a great thing to cross off the "bucket list"

Also for a husband and family who are always encouraging and helpful. Thanks everyone!!!!
